Providing you with a safe space

Hello, my name is Jack Brown, welcome to my website for my counselling practise ‘Empowering Pathways’. I am an experienced Person-Centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. I have been using my knowledge and skills to help people work through some of the worst times in their lives. After years of training and continued personal development, I do what I do with love and passion. I am on a register that has been accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

I believe we all need to celebrate and embrace our uniqueness and share our gifts with the world. I am a defender and speaker of the truth and want to help others find their voice to speak and live theirs too. From complex trauma, processing big life changes/experiences, to simply investing time in yourself to work towards making effective changes in your life, it is my mission to help you thrive.

  • "Jack has such a calming and approachable manner about him that made it so easy and so comfortable to open up. Thank you Jack."

  • “Jack is an amazing therapist. He's caring, insightful and has helped me so much. Jack truly listens and gives great advice tailored to my needs. He's professional yet personable, making me feel comfortable to open up. Jack has a gift for getting to the root of issues and providing effective strategies. I'm incredibly grateful to be working with such a skilled and compassionate therapist”

  • "In five weeks, Jack has already helped me start to identify behaviour patterns and things I've been holding on to that may be holding me back. I feel safe talking about these issues and things from my past. Our sessions hold no judgement, making feel secure and confident enough to open up. I really value our conversations."

  • "Jack is great, really focused, kind and resourceful. He challenges, listens and supports and I feel that, thanks to him, I am making progress."
